Oh how that girl of mine does love those summer nights.........

Summer...week 12.....

The Madam learnt to ride her bike......the dog still wont walk on a lead but it wont leave her side......the dog also now sleeps in the cubbyhouse on a pink chair as oppose to it's kennel.......the madam would like a spaceship.

Summer is already in week eleven....

Muggy, sticky heat........thank god for mangoes.

Summer is.....

Making faces with oranges......the madam didn't like oranges for such a long time and now we go through almost a kilo a week.

Summer flowers

My favourite flower - I don't know why - they just always make me happy. I think they are tiger lillies. When the Mr and I first moved in with each other we would always go to the central market and he would buy them for me.

Summer.......lunancy

Summer ( as hosted by Jodi at Che & Fidel see the side bar for the link!) is having dinner outside with the Mr & the Madam.......then taking my wine and camera and laying on the lawn trying to get crazy photo's of the resident puppy while she goes crazy in the water..............

P.S. a heatwave is not glamourous!

Summer surf...... (just a bit late)

I have been part of Jodis (from Che & Fidel) Monday Summer pics for a while now. The only problem for the last two weeks I forgot Monday even existed so this is my Monday summer photo - just a little late.

The madams first "surf" ! She has in her head that surfing is stand up so wont really consider laying down on a body board - yes it's kinda like she just got half the concept. But she has a good go anyway. There is nothing like being at the beach with this girl to make your day better!

Cost of wine and food...........(bloody worth it!)

Cost of getting a great photo of your daughter on the knee of Father Christmas - especially when it was actually my dad, her pa, and her not guessing like we all thought she would!).....................PRICELESS!

When the end of year is near and the Christmas season is turning into one big breakdown and the turtle is MIA (yes I have managed to lose the worlds slowest animal!) throw the kid in the car and go to the beach..............

Chaos and calm........that is summer.

The Summer of Parks....

This is the second instalment of the summer photos - check out the list of another summer lovelies participating by going to my side bar and clicking on Che and Fidel -Summer is (as anyone around little kids knows) park weather! Due to the mass amount of sun and the lacing of torrential downpours the madam and I frequent most parks around the area - cheap, entertaining and if you can sneak in a ride down the slippery dip yourself - very good for the soul.

Summer love

Well I don't really think the universe knows what it's up to with the weather - today is a little bit murky and I am back in jeans - not complaining as I love it!
Today is the start of the Monday Summer pics from Jodie at Che and Fidel .

This is obviously a bit of a staged picture but it encompasses some of my absolute favourite things about the weather warming up - if I have to endure heat, sweat,and the creatures of summer I will do so! But only with my fruit (mangoes being my beloved) and my juice......
