A photo a day: twenty: talk to me!

Driving back from anywhere seems to take us forever - in one trip from my friends house to home which is technically only 20 minutes away it took the madam and I an hour! We had six ducks, a kangaroo and these lovely cows that we just had to stop and talk too! This went on for about 30 minutes - she just talked and talked and they slowly came closer and closer - maybe I have a Dr Doolittle on my hands!

Play time!

We will be going to get supplies to try and make these juggling balls from the Juggle! post at Majikfaerie which is a beautiful blog with great home school ideas and some of them work for toddlers!

I'll be wishing I could just pop on over to ampersand and check out the out of the booth collection from Robert E Jackson. I love how a photo conveys so many emotions, character, feelings.

Loving this Super 8 wedding video - God I hope if I ever actually get around to planning our wedding I remember to do something cool like this!

Playing along with the daily questions in spain daily.

Question

Okay..... I have been thinking and probably over thinking particular things so from that I pose this question. Do you feel that when it comes down to it some people are good people and some people are bad? Can some people not change? Is it just because they do not want to be different?

I know this is actually a few questions but it just interest me. I have come across people that seem to be phenomenally good - they are calm, nice, generous, look great, etc. I also know a couple of people that by all appearances are regular people but they actually seem to wreak havoc on not only others but themselves.

Is it a personality thing? A karma thing? A God thing?

I hope this makes sense - I'm just interested to know others opinion.

A photo a day: Eighteen: renew the weirdness & Nie

The madam and I are starting to plant our 'fairy garden' - it consists of many cute and lovely looking plants and herbs - there is absolutely no common sense or gardening knowledge that goes with this garden just a sense of renewal I think that comes with the weather warming - as well as a sense of the weirdness that my imaginative daughter has decided thirteen fairies and ten dogs live in our garden (we actually have a turtle and two fish) but I am the last person to doubt what is unseen!

We did another beach trip too - is it just me or does that rock above (in kinda weirded me out it looks like the Lemony Snicketts tree) look like it has a mini tree in it - I know it is probably actually something with a very sensible name but I am not that cluey!

Also if you get a chance check out Nie's blog - Stephanie and her husband are beautiful people who were in a terrible plane crash a year ago - after suffering some pretty harsh injuries they have fought their way back to be with their kids and each other - her sister Jane's blog is brilliant too. For the first time since the accident she posted a picture of herself yesterday. It is an awe inspiring journey.

A photo a day: sixteen: The cycle of things

Ok so I totally missed a couple of days but that was due to having far to much white wine Friday night and I figure if I can't focus my eyes I probably shouldn't take photos! Anyway this is what I have done on the weekend;

  • I've seen a brother and sister reunite
  • I've seen suspicions confirmed
  • I've seen a Dad suddenly realise how cool his kid is
  • I've seen a marriage break up
  • I've seen others take stock of things
  • I've made a decision
  • I've seen a family be a family for the first time in a long time

Not the weekend I thought it would be but I think that is definitely the cycle of how things go - I am a big believer in that things happen for a reason - especially my headache on Saturday - sav blanc is fickle - my friend on the night - my enemy in the morning.
