The smallest person with the greatest influence....

What I would love to be & what I'd love to wear!

Image via love your chaos

I came across this photo and thought I so want to be this lady when I grow up - I want to at least always have that one moment when you get on the swing at the park and nothing else exists - you just be.

I loved this photo - it has such a presence and made me want to go out and buy a headdress.

What is your story?

Through the ever inspiring Marvellous Kiddo and Pacing the Panic Room I found out about this project......I jumped at it......come and tell your story with me.....

Just some little things we did....

This weekend we managed to ;

Give the house & garden a good clean up.
Finally plant something resembling a vegie garden.
Have numerous visitors - which was lovely!
Blow up numerous ballons - with the madam.
Come up with a million life - changing ideas!

I'm glad it's the week!

P.S. These photo's are random from over the last week - yes they include the first day of school one! I hope she is still smiling as much in year 12!

What would you say?

All images from here and here

I don't have any tattoos. The thought of getting one freaks me out - not so much getting the actual tattoo but being 'that girl' - 'that girl' being the sooky one that curled into the foetal position before the needle came anywhere near her.

The Mr , on the other hand, has many and has plans for more. I think I mentioned when we went away there was a tattoo convention - it is incredible to watch people get tattoos. I had seen the Mr and some other people get some in Australia but in Thailand I finally saw what people were talking about when they said their body is a canvas and the person with the needle is an artist. It got me to thinking - if I could one day leave my fear and neurosis behind - what would I get? I have always loved books and quotes from my favourite books, as well as songs, are all over my home.........so maybe I would get a quote from my all time favourite, read it 300 times, book..........To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. But then again maybe I'll just write them on paper and stick them on my wall......

"They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions... but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience."

"Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mocking bird."

What happens when life takes over.......

Oh I must be a slack tart - I have been de followed by one..............understandable due to my recent lack of interesting, let alone any, posts. I can only offer the
need to declutter and remotely organise my life, getting the madam back into life with us, starting the Mr's new business oh and the madam starting at Montessori school as my lame excuses for being a bad blogger. oh and that I find reading everyone else's blogs much more interesting at the moment.

Yes, I am now the parent of a child that attends school.....well kinda......the madam has started at the local Montessori School two days a week. I only had a mild breakdown on the first day whereas she didn't have a care in the world.

I am still editing my current photos so I thought I would leave you with some of the glory I have found in my travels around the world of all things in www land....

I am thinking this may be a brilliant birthday idea for the madam
or.......maybe me????

If I could win the lotto - or come into some money I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, if I purchased all of this website I would be really organised.

I am still vicariously living through this blog.......what a wonderful experience .....and I always learn something new.

Maggie yet again writes words that I am sure applies to many of us but she can only write with such a beautiful sense of self that I can't wait to buy her novel.

I hope you like these links as much as I do......and so you all know.... I thoroughly appreciate & value all who read my little ol' blog.
